Yayoi Kusama
Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese contemporary artist. She is known for her "infinity nets" which are huge paintings or sculptures covered in small dots and lines. Kusama has said, "Our earth is only one polka dot among a million stars in the cosmos. Polka dots are a way to infinity." She was born in 1929 and still lives in Japan.
