Vik Muniz

 Vik Muniz is a Brazilian artist and photographer. He is known for his use of unusual materials including chocolate syrup, tomato sauce, toys, junk, and dust. He uses his popularity as an artist to bring attention to social issues that are important to him, and has even used his own money to open a preschool in his home town. He was born in 1961 and splits his time living in working between Brazil and New York.
